Animal board dating zoo
This upscale cocktail party is the Auxiliary Board’s primary fundraising event.
This one-of-a-kind gala is held in the heart of the zoo and celebrates the natural beauty and urban spirit of Lincoln Park Zoo.
The Auxiliary Board has approximately 100 members between the ages of 25 and 40 who are primarily young professionals from city neighborhoods near the zoo and Chicago’s suburbs.
Lincoln Park Zoo is one of only three remaining free zoos in the U. and the last free major cultural institution in Chicago, opening its gates annually to more than 3.5 million visitors.
These unique up close encounters are planned and coordinated with each individual group in mind. Tour requests must be made at least one month in advance.
Choose from five fascinating tours of animal habitats including giraffe and okapi, rhino, zebra and ostrich, penguin, and polar bear. Ask about combining tours to create an all-day adventure at the Zoo. Payment is due in full upon confirmation of availability.
Guests are also invited to learn fun facts about the animals in the Spooky Zoo Education Zone, stimulate their minds while making crafts, collect treats and enjoy entertainment throughout zoo grounds while dressed in their best or spookiest costume.
Due to the unpredictability of working with wild animals and the priority of health and safety issues, all tours are subject to the good physical and mental health of the animal collection. A full refund, less a cancellation fee, will be given to guests canceling tour reservations at least two weeks prior to a scheduled visit.Financial responsibilities include paying annual membership dues, supporting fundraising efforts and contributing to Lincoln Park Zoo's Annual Fund.Membership is reserved for individuals aged 25–40 at the time of application.Guests of Spooky Zoo tend to be families with young children, enjoy family outings together and live all over the city of Chicago.
